Naomi Low was daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and crusader.  Nomi was the name she gave to her inner self when talking about her childhood.  When her children were young, she didn't have much time for gardening, but she loved seeing the flowers and trees in bloom. She was nourished and replenished by the smallest amount of time beneath the sun.   Now, when the children, and even some of the grandchildren, are grown, they too love being outdoors and watching beautiful things grow.

Naomi would sit on the back step for hours, watching the dance of a butterfly. She loved wind chimes because they too danced about on the summer breeze. Sometimes she would listen for song birds.

Here in Nomi's Garden, we have chosen some of Naomi's favorite flowers and plants, as well as a few new ones. We hope they will call the butterflies and hummingbirds. We hope she likes the view.
